QUILT RAFFLE - August 28th

we are again pleased to present three of Sharon Shiraishi's quilts.

This year's collection is entitled "Some of My Favorite Things" and are based on the "Chop-Stix" pattern by Dorie Javier. Sharon wanted to make this year's quilts ones that "would offer warmth and comfort" rather than being hung as art on a wall.

Please click on the sections below to see the full quilt.

Autumn's Understanding

This quilt was pieced by Sharon and machine quilted by Pamela Sengo. Pam has quilted the large quilts for Sharon for several years. Pam donates her craft, materials and time. Thank you so much, Pam. This quilt is 52" X 64" and Sharon describes it as a "throw size," something you could cuddle under on the couch.

Spring's Awareness

This quilt was pieced and quilted by Sharon. It quilt measures 52" X 40". Sharon refers to this quilt as a lap or crib quilt size.

Winters Serenity

This quilt was also pieced and quilted by Sharon and measures 52" X 40". Another lap or crib quilt size.
