This year's collection is entitled "Some of My Favorite Things" and are based on the "Chop-Stix" pattern by Dorie Javier. Sharon wanted to make this year's quilts ones that "would offer warmth and comfort" rather than being hung as art on a wall.

This quilt was pieced by Sharon and machine quilted by Pamela Sengo. Pam has quilted the large quilts for Sharon for several years. Pam donates her craft, materials and time. Thank you so much, Pam. This quilt is 52" X 64" and Sharon describes it as a "throw size," something you could cuddle under on the couch.

Sharon has been creating quilts for Hospice for 6 years. She works from her quilt studio in Elk Grove, Ca.
Sharon is a self taught quilter who enjoys taking workshops all over the state to build her repertoire of skills and gain exposure to all of the latest in the art of quilting. Sharon's focus for the Hospice quilts has been on Asian fabrics and themes.
Sharon will be attending this year's Taste of the Cove event to pick the three winners.
All three quilts will be hanging in the local Banks from now until August 28th.

The quilt raffel tickets are going for $5 each, or 6 for $25, or 25 for $100.
